DraCor is short for "drama corpora", a growing collection of plays in (mostly) European languages. The project aims to create an interface between traditional and digital literary studies. It is an ecosystem. Scholars can connect to DraCor on different levels. The corpora can be used freely, even independently of the platform itself. For ease of use, there is an interface providing access to specific slices of the corpora, i.e. data that can be used directly in one's research, following the FAIR principles.

The DraCor symbol was designed not only to represent a node of a network graph – the core type of visualization on the DraCor platform used for drama network analysis – but also to metaphorically illustrate the link between Digital Humanities and traditional literary studies.
